Darien Review

…we are happy to report that the Troupers acquitted themselves very well indeed.  Our largest and choicest bouquet goes to Frederick Scharmer in the role of the jester– which is entirely as it should be. When it comes to Gilbert and Sullivan, Mr Scharmer has the voice, the acitn ability and the right touch. His Jack Point was at once bright, gay and pathetic, deserving a featured spot in the Troupers’ scrapbook.
